This article gives a great summary of the potential for AI in all industries but from an insurance perspective the stat that attracted my attention was the idea that in just over two years time 85% of customer interactions will be managed without humans.

I think Gartner's prediction there might be a bit fanciful. However, I can believe that 85% of customer interactions will be managed by humans but with the help of real time, predictive AI. In fact maybe not even two years!
